A 30-year-old South Milwaukee woman remains in critical condition in the Froedtert Hospital intensive care unit after a four-car accident Sunday in Oak Creek.

The woman was a passenger in a vehicle traveling eastbound on Rawson Avenue about 11:45 a.m. The vehicle was hit by a car that police say ran a red light northbound on Howell Avenue, resulting in a multi-car accident.

The woman was taken to Froedtert by Flight for Life with life-threatening injuries, according to an Oak Creek police report. Four others were also hospitalized; an update on their conditions was not available.

Police cited a 46-year-old Milwaukee man for running a red light and inattentive driving. An investigation is ongoing.

Everyone, please pray that this 30 year old woman makes it through her injuries and lives. I'm sure this would be the best Christmas gift her family could ask for.
