Caledonia Man Allegedly Sells Drugs to Undercover Oak Creek Cop

Peter M. Puente is facing three drug-related charges in Racine County Circuit Court after authorities searched his home Friday.

 

A 24-year-old Caledonia man who allegedly sold Oxycontin to an undercover Oak Creek police officer is now facing three drug charges in Racine County Circuit Court.

Peter M. Puente was charged with possession with intent to deliver marijuana, possession with intent to deliver narcotics and maintaining a drug trafficking place. If convicted, he faces up to 22 years in prison and $70,000 in fines.

According to the criminal complaint:

After Puente's exchange with the undercover Oak Creek cop, authorities executed a search warrant Friday on Puente's home in the 9300 block of Caddy Lane in Caldeonia. Inside the home, officers found 44 Oxycodone pills and two bags of marijuana containing a total of 42 grams.

Officers found a rifle under a bed, as well as ammunition.

Puente is also a suspect in two home invasions in Kenosha. He is in Racine County Jail on $10,000 bond while awaiting trial.
