Casino Night Will Raise Money For St. Matthew School
Enjoy a night of food, drinks and games Friday at Classic Lanes. All proceeds benefit St. Matthew.
Martin Law Office is sponsoring a Casino Night to benefit St. Matthew School.
The event will be held at 7 p.m. Friday at Classic Lanes, 7501 S. Howell Ave. For $10 admission, attendees can enjoy a night of food, drinks and games, with all proceeds donated to St. Matthew School.
"My wife, Melissa, and I strongly believe that there is no problem that cannot be answered through education," Martin Law Office owner Kevin Martin said. "This event is to benefit St. Matthew School through corporate citizenship and community involvement. To put it simply, we invite everyone in the community to come and have a great time at Casino Night for the benefit of education."
Games include blackjack, let-it-rdie, three-card poker, craps, Texas Hold 'Em and more.
Attendees can also enter raffles to win an Acer laptop and Kindle Fire.

I wish Kevin felt the same way about other kids & education. My university going son, on the deans list, called his office several times to talk about his career & to intern (free work). Kevin never had the decency to return his calls.

Are you for real "working mom" Being a business owner myself for 24 years. I would never hire anyone though a phone call. Hey I have an ideal, why don't your son text him. FYI, if your son wants to be hired anywhere tell him to get up off his ass and go to the location.

Oh sweetheart I have perfect grammer. But my Droid on the other hand did attend MATC. Thank you for pointing that out to me. Want your son to get ahead in life, stay out of his life.

I own a business as well. When a university student in my discipline calls me, I return the call GLADLY. I think a phone call to introduce oneself is a good, personal way to introduce yourself. He could AT LEAST RETURN THE CALL. We business owners have an obligation to mentor & assist our youth. You don't have to swear-- you're only showing your lack of class & education.
Also, I think there could be a better fundraiser than gambling. This parish has been through enough lately, with the secretary stealing money.

Swearing? I guess your deleted comment, refering to the size of David's man parts, wasn't concidered swearing?
One again, I'd love to know the name of your corporation/business.

It wasn't swearing. I used the correct anatomical part.
Your English is top notch, too. "One again"? One again, what? Even once again isn't correct, as you only stated one thing, thus the word again would not apply. Newbie... I think you need to revisit am English class soon. Or, u neede Ta vizit da ingles class sune.

Newbie must be a rude man just as David is. Working Mom: I totally get what you're saying. Right from the get-go. Including deleted post! We should be answering our youth! My goodness, in this economy your son is willing to work free? You are raising him well!

Working Mom & cb -
Please accept my apology for my spelling error. I am a product of public schools.
I said "once again" because I initially replied to a post you made stating you owned a corporation and I just asked which corporation it was. It appears that when a post is deleted for making comments about another persons body parts, all the replies that are made to that post are also deleted.
Is now a good time to ask "Once again, what corporation/business do you own?" You appear to be so over worked, I may have a few university students in mind to send your way to mentor.

I deleted my comment because of a grammatical error. When I deleted it, there wasn't a reply. It looks as if you're always putting your 2 ¢ in, I see many posts on here. Do you need employment? I always need toilet cleaners. I don't choose to have customers like you. Mentor? I do enough, especially for private university students. Do you work at Burger King? Or the equivalent? Or, ONCE AGAIN, do you need employment? :)

A job is a job. Wow. I wonder if you're employer would like your sense of pride. Sorry, newbie, no public school educations here! We have careers - not jobs. Now, go do something positive. Go mentor... I hear Scrubbing Bubbles makes a great toilet cleaner nowadays!

Yes, it is one of the best. Bonus: It's made by Wisconsin's own SC Johnson :)
And they don't hire over the phone, either.

Stupid or illiterate? Hmm, not to sure. Original post NEVER TALKED ABOUT HIRING OVER THE PHONE. What an idiot. Go clean a toilet. You don't need to READ to accomplish this.

You are correct. Just like the original post had nothing to do with Casino Night, which is what all these posts should be about.
As the name implies, I'm new to Oak Creek. I am looking forward to our paths crossing. I am also looking forward to attending Casino Night.

The original post had everything to do with it. One cannot 'support' when one doesn't even return simple phone calls. ESPECIALLY being part of a Christian community. Have fun at casino night! I'm sure you'll do well... But remember its a fund raiser! Paths crossing I highly doubt it. I tend not to associate with those that just have a job, no pride & those who think they know everything. I don't know everything, that's why I'm always taking classes. Working on my 2nd dissertation...you, know, 2nd Ph.d!

Working mom, that explains a lot! You are so busy writing dissertations that you forgot how to interact with people. You must be a real treat to work for. Quite honestly, scrubbing toilets would probably be more pleasant than having to deal with you daily. Perfection must be a difficult status to maintain; Good luck with that. In the meantime, the rest of the peons are going to enjoy living our simple lives.
