A community picnic will be held Sunday afternoon at the American Legion, 9327 S. Shepard Ave., with proceeds going to the Mayor Dick Bolender Scholarship Fund.

The picnic starts at 4 p.m. and includes dinner catered by Georgie Porgie's, a cash bar, music/DJ, raffle prizes and a 50/50 raffle.

The cost is $20 per person, with $5 from dinner ticket going toward the scholarship fund.

A tribute motorcycle ride for family and friends of the Bolender family will be held prior to the picnic. Those interested should contact a family member for ride information.
