Dissatisfied With His Food, Man Calls the Cops
A 41-year-old man was apparently none too happy with the food he ordered from Golden Chicken Thursday night, so much so that he called police.
A 41-year-old man was not happy with the quality of his food from Golden Chicken, nor did he like the response from a restaurant employee.
So he did the next logical thing and called Oak Creek police.
According to an Oak Creek police report, the man said the rib dinner he ordered was "not edible" and wanted a refund.
A restaurant employee told him the owner could get back to him in the morning, but that apparently didn't satisfy the man, who then called Oak Creek police about 9 p.m. Thursday.
Police advised it was a civil matter and between him and the restaurant.

Why didn't they give the man who called the police a ticket. I think they have more important things to do than worry about a refund!

Story is humerous EXCEPT - why should he have to come back the next day to speak with a manager? Is there no one that can make the decision or tell the man that they would be willing to file the man's complant and have the manager contact him the next day? To often customer service is replaced by service. Not saying the man was right. Just saying it also points out a customer service issue that we see too often.

A decent restaurant would have given the man a refund. It's called "customer service", which is getting more rare nowadays. He should not have had to wait to talk to the owner the next day. That is ridiculous! I will never go there.
