DNR, Police Investigating Animal Harassment Video

A video taken in Oak Creek shows several men trapping a deer and putting a T-shirt on the animal. A suspect has been identified.

The state Department of Natural Resources and Oak Creek Police Department are investigating a video that shows several men putting a T-shirt on a trapped deer in Oak Creek.

The video, called "how to put a T-shirt on a feisty deer," has since been removed from YouTube, according to WTMJ-TV, which first reported the story Wednesday and showed some of the video.

Officers have identified the perpetrator, according to the police department logbook. No citations have yet been issued.

Several Oak Creek residents have seen the deer. It is believed to be healthy and should be left alone, according to the TMJ report.

A Patch user took the photo at right, which is believed to be the same deer in the video, on Monday night near Lake Michigan. Just a little of the T-shirt remained.
