Drugs, Cash Found After OWI Arrest

Floyd Rogers Jr. faces a felony drug charge after a Feb. 9 traffic stop on Drexel Avenue in Oak Creek.

Oak Creek police found cocaine and $2,234 in cash when they searched a 54-year-old man arrested on Drexel Avenue for operating while intoxicated.

Floyd Rogers Jr. has been charged with second offense-possession of cocaine. According to a criminal complaint, he was pulled over Feb. 9 in the 800 block of W. Drexel Avenue for OWI, though online court records show he has not yet been charged with that offense.

An officer found the cash and three grams of cocaine while searching Rogers at the Oak Creek police station, according to the complaint. Rogers was previously convicted of possession of cocaine with intent to deliver in 2010.

If convicted of his second cocaine possession offense, a felony, he faces more than three years imprisonment, a $10,000 fine and a suspension of his driver's license.
