Friends of the Oak Creek Library Extends Book Sale

Due to a large number of items, the Friends group is holding a sale both during National Night Out and the following day at the Oak Creek Public Library.

The Friends of the Oak Creek Public Library has extended its annual book sale due to a large number of items.

In addition to the sale during National Night Out on Aug. 7, a sale will also be held from 3-6 p.m. Aug. 8 with regular prices, and 6-8 p.m. when the cost is $1 per bag of items.

Hours during National Night Out, meanwhile, are 3-5 p.m. for Friends members and 5-8 p.m. for the general public. If you are not a member and would like to shop early, a membership can be bought at the door.

The Friends is still accepting donations for the sale, which includes hardcover and paperback adult and children's books, CDs and DVDs. Items can be dropped off at the library during regular open hours through July 31.
