Get Out: Relay for Life, Italian Knight Out and More This Weekend

Why Go: Join the American Cancer Society's Relay for Life on the high school football field to celebrate those who have had cancer, remember loved ones lost and fight back against the disease.
Pricing: Varies based on pledges
Where/When: Franklin Library and Franklin City Hall/Saturday, 8:30 a.m.-noon and 1-2:30 p.m.
Why Go: Find a huge selection of gently-used children’s items at great prices, as well as books, maternity and children’s clothing, toys and more.
Pricing: Free
Where/When: Oak Creek Community Center/Saturday, 4-7:30 p.m.
Why Go: Dine in, carry out or drive-through and enjoy Papa Luigi’s spaghetti with meatballs or the enormous Italian sausage pizza burger. Hanging flower baskets will also be on sale.
Pricing: $7 in advance or $8.50 at the door
Where/When: Divine Savior Holy Angels High School/Saturday, 2 p.m. and 6:30 p.m.
Why Go: Come see the famous Trinity Academy of Irish Dancers, ages 4-18, present their 2011 spring performance, Inspire.
Pricing: $17/adults and $5/children (ages 3-18)
Mini Golf for a Major Cause
Where/When: Gastrau’s Golf Center/Sunday, 1-5 p.m.
Why Go: Join St. Matthew’s Lutheran Church as they host a day of golf to raise funds for the St. Bernard Project in New Orleans. All proceeds will be donated to the mission to rebuild the homes and lives of Hurricane Katrina survivors.
Pricing: $7/adults and $4/children (ages 12 and younger)
