Great Escape: Golf and Tennis
Forget the bad weather and sign up for lessons at Gastrau's or Oak Leaf Court.
Between the household chores, picking up after the kids, playing chauffeur and working at your paid job, you’ve earned yourself a Great Escape.
Each Wednesday, we’ll throw out one idea to give your mind a mini-vacation while you escape from reality for a much deserved break, so you can return refreshed, renewed and ready to take on your role as “super-mom” again.
We told you about . This week, plan a trip to the driving range or tennis court. The weather is bound to warm up, so make a Great Escape to Gastrau’s Golf Range on April 27 for golf lessons or to Oak Leaf Court East, 401 W. Centennial Drive, on May 15 for tennis lessons.

All four golf lessons are $32 for residents and $48 for non-residents on Wednesdays; beginner lessons are from 6-7 p.m. and advanced beginner lessons are from 7-8 p.m. All five tennis lessons are $24 for residents and $36 for non-residents on Saturdays from 9-10 a.m. Click here to register online.
