Home Forcibly Entered; TV, Playstation Stolen

Police did not have any initial suspects in connection with a burglary Friday near Forest Hill and Pennsylvania avenues.

Oak Creek police say someone forced their way into a home in the 2800 block of E. Emily Avenue and stole a flat-screen television and a Playstation.

According to a police report, a woman called 911 about 8 p.m. Friday after finding an open garage door and broken window and realizing the house had been burglarized.

After a police canine found no one inside, officers and the resident went in and discovered the TV and video game system stolen. The master bedroom was also rummaged through, according to the report.

Police say the person or people got into the house by kicking in a door to enter the garage and then kicking in another door leading from the garage to the home.

A neighbor told police she heard "a lot of banging" at the house followed by tires squealing on a car sometime between 3 and 4 p.m., according to the report.

No initial suspects were identified.

So nice:)) OC used to be a quiet subdivision when I moved here in 2000. Now it seems crime has increased two fold. I can only imagine things to get worse as the economy continues to spiral out of control. Oh wait what am I saying its getting better according to the Obama Administration.
I really hope the police catch who ever did this.

I used to live on Forest Hill and was burglarized in almost the same exact way as this story and the police did nothing. What a shame!

Always seems intelligent to blame Obama for a burglary that was more than likely perpetrated by someone who knows the family in some way, shape or form. Get a clue Patroit!

It's nice to occasionally find a sensible comment on here.

Ask Shorewood and WFB about their 'hope and change.' Their crime has risen over 50%. Inevitable under such mismanagement and incompetence at the national level.

it seems that there is alot more drugs in OC. Drugs bring this kind of BS. Im not saying the law hasnt been doing anything because it seems like they are making drug related arrests every other day. Good job OCPD. Maybe us citizens need to get involved a little more!

How about...watch out for your neighbors? Look out the window? Call the police when you see suspicious behavior? Secure your home so that someone can't get in by kicking in a door? Blaming the US President for local burglaries is like blaming the CEO of FedEx, because one of the company's drivers got a speeding ticket. Dumb.

That;s quite a reach blaming the pres for a local burglary. I'm sure there are better places for you to go to complain about. In fact I can tell you where to go
