Illegal Window Tint Leads to Drug Charges for Milwaukee Man
Oak Creek police pulled over a vehicle on Rawson Avenue and found a 24-year-old man in possession of cocaine and marijuana, according to a criminal complaint.
A 24-year-old Milwaukee man is facing drug charges after police found cocaine and marijuana during a traffic stop in Oak Creek.
Maurice S. Snyder Jr. was charged in Milwaukee County Circuit Court Thursday with one count of possession of cocaine. If convicted, he faces up to one year in county jail and $5,000 in fines.
According to the criminal complaint:
On May 3, an Oak Creek police officer on patrol in the 1200 block of W. Rawson Ave. spotted a car with illegal window tint and registered to a person with a suspended license, so he pulled it over. A woman was driving the car with Sndyer in the passenger seat and two small children in the back seat.
The woman let officers search the car and they found a rock of cocaine on the passenger side, which Snyder said was his. They found two more bags of cocaine in his pockets along with a bag of marijuana and an open bottle of brandy on the floor.
He's currently being held in Milwaukee County Jail on a $1,000 signature bond.
