Knights Advance To Sectionals
Oak Creek beat Cudahy 8-4 Friday to pull to within two games of the state finals. The Knights will take on Greendale Monday.
Riley Shelton's career night Friday propelled the Oak Creek Knights baseball team into the sectionals.
Shelton hit two home runs as the Knights won 8-4 over Cudahy at Abendschein Park, according to the official team site.
Oak Creek now faces Greendale at 11 a.m. Monday at West Allis Hale High School. The winner plays later that day at 6 p.m. against the winner of Hale-South Milwaukee for the right to play in the state finals in Mequon.
