Oak Creek Knights Getting Noticed

Social and other media abuzz with Oak Creek's football success.

Hard work is paying off for the Oak Creek Knights varsity football team.

Not only are they 6-0 but word is that the team is being selected for TMJ4's Team of the Week. Watch tonight at 6 p.m. to see the results.

Also, the team's upcoming match-up against Racine Holick tomorrow is the running as WISN's Game of the Week. Team fans on Facebook are encouraged to vote on WISN.

Patch has Oak Creek picked as a shoe-in for the play-offs:

"The Knights continue to roll. They manhandled Kenosha Tremper, 40-7, Friday to set up a potentially tough matchup with Racine Horlick on Friday, Oct. 5. They’ll make their first playoff appearance since 2009 and are one game ahead of Franklin in the Southeast Conference standings."

And then there's the help they're getting from former Packers running back Ahman Green

The Knights are storming the castle.
