Machete-Wielding Resident Chases Man Out of House, Arrested For Disorderly Conduct
Argument over drinking Sunday night escalated.
A 27-year-old man allegedly chased another man while armed with a machete last night, resulting in his arrest for disorderly conduct-while armed.
According to a police report:
Oak Creek police received a 911 call about 10:30 p.m. from a 21-year-old man saying he was hiding behind a house, in the 500 block of Quail Run, because the 27-year-old was chasing him.
Officers later learned the two men had been arguing because the 21-year-old was on the phone with his wife and wouldn't drink with him.
The 27-year-old told him to leave if he wasn't going to drink. Then he punched the living room wall and ran to the upstairs bedroom to get the sword.
The 21-year-old ran outside and called 911.
Police arrived and found numerous swords and two pipes during a search of his residence.
In addition to the 27-year-old's arrest, officers cited the man's girlfriend for possession of drug paraphernalia. They also cited the 21-year-old for carrying a concealed weapon after they found him with brass knuckles.
