A large piece of equipment at Steel Warehouse of Wisconsin caught fire Tuesday afternoon, causing about $5,000 worth of damage.
The Oak Creek police and fire departments were called about 12:10 p.m. to the facility, 535 W. Forest Hill Ave. Shreds of dust and wood had caught on fire inside a large tree shedder, according to a police report.
By the time the police and fire departments arrived, an employee had extinguished the fire, according to the report.
However, the fire still caused about $5,000 in damage to wires in the equipment, which is insured.
