Man Accused of Child Abuse Pleads Not Guilty
Nicholas Fuchs, charged with six child abuse-related felonies, pleaded not guilty.
Nicholas James Fuchs, charged with six felonies related to child abuse allegations, pleaded not guilty in a court appearance Wednesday morning.
Fuchs waived his preliminary hearing and is now bound over for trial. He will next appear in court May 10.
Fuchs, of Milwaukee, is accused of abusing his girlfriend's children in their Oak Creek home. Among the allegations were that he put a child in a running clothes dryer on multiple occasions.
Oak Creek Patch first reported the charges Friday.
Fuchs faces up to 74 years in prison and $165,000 in fines if convicted. He remains in Milwaukee County Jail on a $20,000 bond.
