Man Slashed in Fight at Southbound

Police are still investigating the incident, which happened early Sunday morning at a Chicago Road tavern.

A 37-year-old Oak Creek man was slashed with a knife during a fight at early Sunday morning, according to a report.

According to the report:

The 37-year-old attempted to wake up a man who fell asleep at the bar. That man and several of his friends starting fighting with the 37-year-old, and during that time one of them took out a knife and slashed him in the chest about 12:30 a.m. The group then left the bar.

The 37-year-old also left the scene but later returned and was uncooperative with police.

A police canine searched the area for a knife but did not find one.
