Voting ended at 9 a.m. Friday for our Readers' Choice best brunch in Oak Creek contest, and the results were as narrow as could be.

Literally - there was a tie between Melrose and Oak Creek Diner, and several other places were close behind.

Since the final outcome is dictated by not only the poll, but also comments, Facebook posts, emails and ratings in our directory, we've determined the Melrose is the official winner of the contest. 

Melrose serves up a family-style meal at 6840 S. 27th St. and is good for any time of the day, really, but especially during the A.M. time period, as Oak Creek Patch readers can attest.

So congrats to Melrose and check back for other contests in the near future.
