The new Noodles and Company at 8581 S. Howell Ave. will open Monday, Acting City Clerk Christa Miller said.

Noodles representatives have not returned messages, but the finishing touches are being put on the 2,500-square-foot restaurant, part of the Oak Creek Centre development across from the Oak Creek Community Center.

The building, owned by Gateway Jackson, Inc. and leased to Noodles, includes an outdoor patio in front. It's expected the restaurant will create between 30 and 40 new jobs.

Noodles and Company operates 284 restaurants in 32 states.
