Oak Creek Eyes More Sidewalks on Howell Avenue
A project that would be completed by the end of 2014 would fill in the gaps on Howell Avenue between College Avenue and Oakwood Road.

Howell Avenue would have sidewalks from College Avenue to Oakwood Road by the end of 2014, if the city's plans come to fruition.
Sidewalks are already in place in many areas on Howell Avenue, but a project in conjunction with the state Department of Transportation would fill in the gaps.
The DOT will pay for 80 percent of the sidewalk construction, while the city will acquire the necessary right-of-way.
The Oak Creek Common Council approved a resolution in which the city will acquire portions of 79 parcels along Howell Avenue.

I live near Oakwood Road and they have markings that say pathway on it. Do you know what they are doing.
