Oak Creek Fourth of July Celebration Set

The festivities begin at 9 a.m. with the parade and end about 12 hours later with fireworks at East Middle School.

The city of Oak Creek has announced the schedule of events for its July 4 celebration.

The parade will begin at 9 a.m. at the corner of Groveland Drive and Shepard Avenue. It will wind its way west on Groveland, south on Knights Place past then down Mayhew Drive to Centennial Drive, before finally heading south on Shepard Avenue, ending at the . (Click here for a map of the route)

The Legion will host games and ice cream following the parade. The Larry Lynne Band will play in the lower Legion Hall from noon to 4 p.m. The Nashville Rejects then take the stage from 4:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m.
