The girls basketball team came up just short in its quest for a state tournament berth, losing to Milwaukee King 74-65 Saturday night.
The Knights led 35-31 at halftime, but King outscored Oak Creek 19-6 in the third quarter to take command.
Morgan Kokta led the way with 18 points for the Knights, who finished the year with a 19-7 overall record.
