Oak Creek Neighborhood Peppered by Paintballs

Several incidents have been reported in the past two weeks.

Several homes in an Oak Creek neighborhood near  have been the target of paintballs over the past two weeks.

Two residents reported to  that their homes were hit by green paintballs around 6 p.m. Thursday, according to the police department logbook. Paintballs struck the door on one of the homes and a window on the other. No damage was caused to either one.

About 9:30 p.m., officers stopped a vehicle on E. Highway 100 that matched the description of the car involved in the incidents, according to the department logbook. The 16-year-old driver denied involvement in the incidents when questioned by an officer. No citations were issued.

Oak Creek police also received a call on Tuesday night about a home on Elm Road that was hit. A resident of the neighborhood said in an e-mail that paintballs were also shot at houses last week.

Police are still investigating.
