Patch Guide to Fall Fairs and Festivals

As things are start to cool off, you may be wishing that you would have attended a few more fairs and festivals. But don't worry, there are plenty more this fall. Here's a look at a few:

Septembeer Fest

• Location: 
• Remaining Dates: 7-10 p.m. Sept. 30
• Features: Aarper’s Bizarre, classic and party rock band, will be performing with food and drink sold from local restaurants and raffle tickets for prizes. For $25, you can sample from 100 brews and retro beers from the 1970s, or vouchers to spend on any call drink. For $10, you choose a flavored malt beverage from the Malte Shoppe.

Oktoberfest

• Distance: 0 miles
• Location:, 10302 S. 27th Street
• Remaining Dates: 11 a.m.-5 p.m. Sept. 24
• Features: Free German family fun with music, carnival games, prizes, photo booth, German baking contest, tasty food, carnival treats, German biergarten and free raffle tickets when you donate school supplies for Milwaukee children in need.

• Distance: 8.8 miles
• Location: Humboldt Park, 3000 S. Howell Ave., Milwaukee
• Remaining Dates: noon-5 p.m. Sept. 17 and 18
• Features: Alverno Presents hosts Global Union, a free world music festival.

Bay View Bash

• Distance: 8.5 miles
• Location: Between Potter and Clement on Kinnickinnic Ave., Milwaukee
• Remaining dates: 11 a.m.-10 p.m. Sept. 17
• Features: About 60 local venders will sell food and merchandise while five stages host local talent. The goal is to raise $3,000 to donate to a local nonprofit organization.
