Sir Walter Payton - Walter for short. Named for the football great by by Chicago Bears-loving kids. UGH! But he's adorable and we love him! My aunt found him and his 2 sisters on the side of an expressway in Virginia and brought him to us in November 2011. He and Spike are great friends! 5 lbs vs. 105 lbs = great fun in our house!

Just some video of animal wrestling so I'll upload it in a minute, but what goes on in our house closely resembles the dog and cat in this video. The pup is, coincidentally, named Spike, just like our guy! Picture the kitten as orange and there ya go! http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=czhpQe-56qg

Wow, that's allot of energy in your house! I wish that Maggie would engage my parents golden lab Peyton, who much like your cat is named after a football player, Peyton Manning, whenever they come and visit as she really loves to play too. But usually he'll start barking and she'll get scared and end up hiding the whole time, even though Peyton is a good friend to and love to play with my parent's cats. Oh well!

Tigger was chosen by hubby for a tiger shorthair who could really jump. The Vet said the spelling is "Tigger." My 20lb shorthair was a "Stanley."

Bella is clearly a fad. Where did Lucy come from?
Mine are Esther, Boots, Keiko and Xena. Fat chance I could get them to all sit together for a group photo.

My current cats are Lucy and Grey. I chose these names years ago as names for children I didn't end up having. Grey Edward and Lucy Lee - so I just decided to give those names to our new-ish cats. We adopted them a couple months ago. Lucy is 1 1/2 and Grey is 2. We couldn't have gotten more lucky with these two. So friendly and a lot of personality.

Short story (because I love talking about my babies)...We have a huge Webkinz collection in the basement. Each day Grey randomly chooses 4-5 different Webkinz to carry upstairs and scatter around the house. He doesn't play with them, he just leaves them for us as tho they are gifts. He just delivered a giraffe to our closet.

My babies who are now gone are Bob, Brian and Gordon.

I will upload pics...

My little girl is Maggie, or Mags for short, named after the character Maggie Gordon, played by Catherine Mary Stewart, from the film 'The Last Starfighter' (1984) :-)

I uploaded a pic.

My little girl that passed on is Maria Moo, or Moo Moo. She died of billaric cancer a little over 2 years ago.

How is Mags doing these days? I hope she is fully on the mend!

Thanks for asking! Mags is doing much better. The virus has completed running its course and she's back to her normal self, although her ear infection continues to linger. But we're staying on top of it and soon she'll be 100% :-)

We have a Cairo, and used to have a Catinca, but soon will have none... We're looking for a new home for Cairo, as my husband's allergies have worsened to the point where we can't keep her. (So, if anyone knows of someone looking for a sweet adult kitty, let me know!)

Mithra Louise-a 12 year old black green-eyed domestic shorthair. This rescue cat with a low tolerance level is neurotic. She will sit on command (usually) but will punish you with surprises on the floor later. Other hobbies: breaking glass, petty larceny, and standing in front of the television set. If anyone knows of someone looking for a household-controlling cat with a martyr complex...

Just kidding--not about what I wrote but I'd never give her away. You can't pay for this kind of entertainment.

Petty larceny? LOL

Our previous cat, Buddy, used to "kill" the kids' stuffed animals by dragging them down the hall (picture a lion with a gazelle) to his "lair" (behind the sofa) and then, because we presume they didn't "die" appropriately, he would leave them in the middle of the living room floor.

We have Max and Mittens! Max is a calico with a clear "M" on his forehead. Mittens is a black tuxedo cat with white paws, hence the name. We have a canine pal to round out the furry kids. A yellow lab named Reed, short for the city name, Reedsburg, where he was born. :)
