What a beautiful day it was and what a great turnout! We served over 600 people in less than two hours - guess everyone was anxious to see the Packer game. Our thanks go out to our 60 plus VOLUNTEERS - including the OCHS cheerleaders, Oak Creek Lions, Street Department employees, Celebrations Commission members and their family and friends.
Special thanks to Butcher Block for a spectacular view of the pigs and chickens roast and for the great tasting food.
Thank you to the car show participants and to Liverpool '64 for their great Beatles music.
As always, a great big thank you to Mark Schaaf for his excellent coverage of ALL city events - you are the best!

Correction - I meant to say in less than three hours.

We were so disappointed. We had looked forward to the pig roast since last year, but when we arrived at 2:15 there was no pork left. We had waited until our grandson got up from his nap and since it was advertised to go until 4:00 we thought we would be okay.
