POLL: Oak Creek's Worst Intersections
What intersection do you hate driving in the most? Vote in our poll.
Last week, I posted a question on our Facebook page asking readers about their least-favorite intersections in Oak Creek.
The response, just as I thought it would be, was high. Residents mentioned a number of different places that aren't always easy to drive through and seem to cause more accidents than others.
A few were mentioned consistently and I have brought them into this poll (let me know if you feel I should add one). We're doing a series on traffic safety in Oak Creek that will run later this month, so look for more on the results from this poll and what city officials have to say about the worst intersections in town.
In the meantime, vote now and weigh in with your thoughts in the comments!

The area on Howell is already a mess . And now they want to make it worse by putting the addition to the school there instead out where there is far less traffic.

The area around Woodmans is an example of poor planning by the city.

Most intersections aren't too bad, usually it's the drivers who are. It seems like no one knows how to use their signals to inform others of their driving intentions. That makes
for uninformed decisions on short notice and often accients follow. I personally do not like any intersection with a roundabout. I think those are accidents waiting to happen, but that's my personal opinion.

personally, i think puetz and howell is the worst for pedestrian's and cyclists. i've almost been hit there 5 or 6 times this year alone. cars do not yield at all... it's pretty scary.

Mike, I agree with Puetz and Howell especially when I want to turn east off Howell when traveling south. That intersection just seems too big. PLUS, post the work on Puetz someone wasn't paying attention and when leaving City Hall by the southern exit one has to go west thru the intersection, and turn about to go east.
