Everyone has their personal preferences when it comes to pizza. But what about the pizza shop owner?
Patch spoke with local Papa Murphy's franchise owner Greg Oman about both his customers' and his own favorite choices.
1. What's the most popular menu item?
A: The restaurant surprisingly sells (and gives away) a lot of cookie dough. But as far as pizza, sausage outsells pepperoni. Specifically, the Milwaukee's Favorite is called that for a reason. The sausage-mushroom-onion is one of the top sellers in Oak Creek.
2. What is your personal favorite menu item?
The BBQ chicken. Papa Murphy's offered it at the Taste of Oak Creek last week at the Oak Creek Community Center. And unlike seasonal offerings, the BBQ chicken is available year-round.
3. What's the best deal?
Many people take advantage of the Tuesday-only special: any pizza, any size, for just 10 bucks. One customer said he even changed his family's movie night to Tuesday for that reason.
