Oak Creek police say a man with a gun robbed the Highway 32 Mobil gas station Saturday night.
According to a police report, the man walked into the station, 9444 S. Chicago Road, at 10:42 p.m. and said he wanted to buy a lottery ticket.
As the clerk rang up the purchase, the man pointed a black handgun at her and told her to give him money, according to the report. He took all the cash in the register and fled on foot southbound.
In a press release Monday, police described the suspect as a light-skinned black male in his early 20s, medium build and wearing a black jacket, jeans with a design on the back and a gray knitted cap with white lines and tassels hanging down the sides.
Officers and a police canine searched the area but could not locate him.
Police are still investigating. Anyone with information should call the police department at (414) 762-8200.

This is only the beginning. As the economy continues to decline things will get much worse. Not quite sure how the establishment media can make the claims we are rebounding? Obviously its an election year so media matters is going to put out nothing but praise for Pres Obamas administration.

Wow you are delusional. One robbery and you turn it into something political. Carnies and rubes... and you are a huge rube. Sorry we have money and you are poor. Stop being lazy and you could join us living the high life. And if someone wants to try to take my wealth, they can deal with my H&K.

Right on Kevin. Everything turns political today. It's the easy way out. I believe the economy plays a small part in desperation for money which may result in an increase in such events, but why jump to politics right away? Because that's what's on people's minds, that's all.

You're absolutely right Patriot. I'm sure the communities of Wauwatosa and Shorewood would concur. And, yes, the spin is definitely in for the next 8 months.
