Sikh Shooting Victims to be Remembered at Vigil in Milwaukee
The vigil will be held at 8 p.m. at Cathedral Square in Milwaukee. It is the first event scheduled to show support for Sunday's shooting victims.
Supporters will be holding a candlelight vigil to “spread peace and show support for the victims and family members of the Sikh Temple Shootings,” at Cathedral Square Park at North Jefferson Street and East Kilbourn Avenue in Milwaukee at 8 p.m., according to event posted on Facebook.
The Milwaukee Journal Sentinel reported the vigil was organized by Greendale’s Tricia Ward and two friends and that a similar vigil was organized for Madison.
Patch will continue to update this page with ways you can show your support, or help the victims and their families with donations as more information becomes available. And if you hear of any events or donation opportunities, add them to the comments below.
