A 40-year-old Cudahy woman fought with Piggly Wiggly employees -- digging her fingernails into the wrist of one of them -- before she was arrested for retail theft and battery Sunday afternoon.
According to an Oak Creek police report, the woman put a bottle of vodka down her shorts and walked out the main entrance of the store, 2201 E. Rawson Ave., about 3:30 p.m. Sunday.
Three employees tried to prevent her from fleeing and a struggle ensued. She dug her fingernails into the left wrist of one of the employees for about a minute, causing the employee to bleed.
Oak Creek officers arrested her and took her to the police station, where she was cited for retail theft and battery.
