3 Nabbed in Drug Sting at Oak Creek Hotel
Police found heroin and drug paraphernalia inside a Red Roof Inn hotel room and vehicle.
Three people were arrested Jan. 8 during a sting at Red Roof Inn, 6360 S. 13th St.
Authorities executed a search warrant about 7:40 p.m. and also pulled over a vehicle leaving the parking lot, according to a police report.
The driver, a 31-year-old man, was arrested after he gave officers a fake name and police found a needle used for heroin use on the driver's seat. He was cited for obstructing police and drug paraphernalia possession.
A passenger in the vehicle, a 37-year-old Milwaukee man, was asked to exit the vehicle and dropped a rock-like item that later tested positive for heroin, according to the report. Police arrested him for heroin possession.
Officers also found drugs and heroin inside the hotel room and arrested a 24-year-old Brookfield man, the renter of the room, on charges of heroin and narcotics possession, police said.
