UW Band Coming to Oak Creek
The group, famous for its 5th Quarter, will perform a concert at the high school in February.
Have you ever wanted to see the University of Wisconsin Band, but haven't been able to make it to Camp Randall?
Or maybe you just really want to hear the Bud Song again?
Now, you'll have your chance.
The band will perform a concert at 3 p.m. Feb. 13 at Oak Creek High School, 340 E. Puetz Road.
Directed by the legendary Mike Leckrone, the concert will include "Field House favorites, Fifth Quarter fun, 1940s Big Band Jazz, singing, dancing and audience participation," according to an event flyer.
The show is a fundraiser for and sponsored by the Oak Creek High School Band. Tickets, which are $10, are available at the high school office; M&I Bank of Oak Creek, 8900 S. Howell Ave.; or any band student.
