Who's Got the Best Fish Fry in Oak Creek?

We want to know your favorite local spot for a Friday night fish fry.

Fish fries are always popular in Wisconsin, and everyone has a favorite.

But there is no time for a fish fry like Lent, which began this week.

We'd like to know where your favorite spot is for a Friday night fish fry. Give us a suggestion in the comments section below, and we'll feature that spot in a poll on Monday.

You'll be able to vote throughout the week, and we'll name the winner on March 2. Winners will be determined by Patch editors based on poll votes, comments, reviews and Facebook or Twitter feedback.

Our search for the Best Fish Fry kicks off 12 weeks of local business competition, trying to narrow down the top spots in town for everything from pizza to mechanics to salons.

So start thinking of your local favorites, and get ready to vote, share your opinions and write reviews abut the best spots in town.

La Susa's and Erv's are the best in my opinion. DiCarlo's was better a few years back than it is now.

I have my favorite, but it's not crowded during Lent and I'd like to keep it that way, so none of you get to know where it is, hehe.

Greco's does a pretty good fish fry. The Back Nine is a close second at Oakwood Hills Golf Course but the service is a lot to be desired. La Susa's isn't to bad either. Erv's is all batter with very little fish and just is way to greasy.

Branded Steer or Greccos. Buy the bucket from Branded Steer and heat the leftovers up (in the oven) the next day, it's even better! Yumm-o!

Jim Dandy's and the joint is clean. When I enter the ladies room of some of the restaurants, I wonder what condition the kitchens are in.

After reading the reviews about Jim Dandy's I considered going there for a fish fry tonight until I read the LEGITIMATE COMPLAINTS on Yelp.com
Countless victims wrote reviews of being mistreated especially after asking to speak with a Mgr regarding terrible food & service. In my opinion it should be SHUT DOWN!!! READ THE REVIEWS
