Woman Injured In E. Rawson Ave. Accident
Police say a driver was attempting to make a left turn into Tehan Greenhouses, but her view was obstructed and she struck a vehicle traveling eastbound.
An 88-year-old Cudahy woman was injured in a two-car accident Friday in front of the entrance to Tehan Greenhouses.
According to an Oak Creek police report, the woman was a passenger in a vehicle heading eastbound on Rawson Ave. about 10:30 a.m. A westbound vehicle was trying to turn left into Tehan's, 1515, E. Rawson Ave., but its view was obstructed by a truck.
The car proceeded with the left turn and struck the passenger side of the eastbound vehicle.
The woman complained of right arm and shoulder pain and was transported to Aurora St. Luke's South Shore, according to the report.
The driver of the other vehicle, a 59-year-old Cudahy woman, was cited for failure to yield right-of-way and operating without proof of insurance.

If the first car was eastbound how did the car turning left into Tehan hit the passenger side? The turning car would have to be turning out of Tehan onto E Rawson in order to hit an eastbound car in the passenger side. ???

yeah...you're right. I'll have to go back and check, they might have misstated it in the police report.
