Police are still investigating. Extra patrols were requested around the woman's house.

So sad!!! When I moved to the OC area back in 2000 crime was something that happened in other areas. OC has grown so much and has had such an influx of people and given the present state of the economy things are going to get much worse. People are becoming desperate for sure. Obviously had to be somebody who knew the women. Otherwise how would he know that she kept a key hidden on her front porch. BAD BAD IDEA

Patriot--I agree with you. I grew up in oak Creek in the 60's and 70's. This is what happens when the city of Oak Creek administrators of various titles allowed Oak Creek to be built up so much without considering the long term consequences ---just so the so called adminstrators could keep their pockets lined. Even in the 80's when I was in college and away from Oak Creek I kept up with what was happening to the scenery, and it wasn't for the better. It's all about money for the few. Very sad for the upright and honest residents who live there. Businesses built too close to residential areas? A disaster in the making. It is very sad.

Mark don't fall into the phony PC garbage that mny news media outlets fall into. Just tell us the suspect's race. Reporting facts is not racist.

I feel the race should be added wether the man is white, black, hispanic or whatever. How do we know what to watch for if the race is not included. This is not racism it is facts!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I agree with you on reporting race - if I knew the race, I would have written it.

If a person is going to rob someone it will happen anywhere....It's not because business's are built to close to residential areas...I bet you like shopping and working in those business's...You have criminals everywhere if you haven't noticed !
