Wow! You may be right. I probably am delusional in expectations of sound morals, integrity, andRead Morerati onale and good judgment from the elect, board members, commissioners and departmental administrators, as I know those that support them don’t have a clue other than self-interest and gain. I should be a good little sheeple and not raise issue or become alarmed when I see stupid. The voters and the elect are not the majority I remind you. They are members of the hidden political machine that has been screwing up OC for a very long time. Your apt to find them hanging at the Legion, Members of the Lions the good ole boys clubs. Surely, I am insane for thinking my alderman who killed a disabled/handicapped one armed resident, who tested drunk at the time of action wasn’t innocent and shouldn’t have gotten off scott free. I must be confused in thinking he should have been convicted of a felony and not eligible to hold office. In turn, I must also be really, really, confused in not understanding the character of others in the community who continue to accept this man as an upstanding citizen, member of Christian church, successful businessman. After all, even though the incident didn’t happen in his home his homeowner’s insurance paid off the widow a token amount and he maintained his social standing in the community. I remind you at the same time a young black male who was socked first, who in self defense struck back causing the white male to hit his head on the curb and die went to prison in our southern community, Kenosha. Yep, I probably need some psychotropic meds that will clear my head of all my insane thoughts. WHAT WAS THAT NUMBER?

In the interim would it be legal for you to share some of your meds with me? Do they really haveRead Morepad ded cells, straight jackets and lock one in at night? It would appear your Electro-Shock therapy worked. How many treatments did you have?

Pale Rider, I will leave you with: It is the public's responsibility to monitor and directRead Moregovernmen t. My generation has been a complete failure in protecting the constitution. The residents of my community are failures as related to involvement and exercise of rights and responsibility in regard to local government. Whereas council chambers used to be packed to over flowing it is now dismally empty. Silence is evidence of agreement and approval. On some issues I agree more with President Putin that my own, Barack Obama. We are in a very sad state of affairs. Are the trees outside of governmental building planted for a greater use than shade and decor? I better be careful. "They're coming to take me away today. Away to the funny farm today. They'll lock me take away my butts. They're coming to take me away." My Great-Great-Grandfather was angry with the church for refusing to bury one of his son's for belonging to a secret organization. He was fond of saying: "The day is coming when they are going to lock up the sane to protect them from the insane."

Sticks and stones may break my bones but names will never hurt me. Anyone reading these postsRead Morerecogn izes who doesn't know diddly. We can teach people to read most to do math but we cannot change one's intellectual ability. As I stated earlier in this post: "the dumb don't know".

In conclusion, after stopping by city hall today and talking with staff I maintain a secure bulletRead Morep roof window at the clerk and treasurers counter is not appropriate. There are other ways to keep the public at bay which just might be representing them not trying to weasel every last dime they own out of them to support city workers, wasteful spending and unseasonable building. While I was there I chanced to read the Libraries heating bill for December: 8,000 dollars. Last months expenses are on display in the hallway. We have excellent city hall staff. Doug in planning is very competent and could have designed a much better building than Bray has on his salary. Katherine, city clerk can talk the most obnoxious angry resident down as she will listen and do whatever she can to assist. Barb, is going to account for every penny that enters the city coffers. Unfortunately, she has no control over what is spent or we'd be very rich not in debt spending. Judy in the health department reports the residents she and her staff service are pleasant and that she has never had any altercations with residents. I didn't see Eddie who I think would laugh at having to hide behind bullet proof glass or Mike from Engineering. Seems only the mayor, some council members and the Chief of police are worried now why is that?
