On July 1st at 4pm The Milwaukee American Legion Band will put on a free concert in our park at Oelschlaeger Dallmann Post 434. The Auxiliary from our Oak Creek Post will be inviting 25 veterans from Zablocki to join us, feeding them and entertaining them with this concert. Everyone is welcome and there will be food and beverages available for the public at a nominal price. A collection will be taken for The Legion Legacy fund to be given at The state Convention this July.

More About The American Legion - Post 434
This is Post 434 of the American Legion. The American Legion is a non-profit organization for veterans that offers community service and mutual helpfulness. It offers local programs and activities dedicated to promoting patriotism and supporting those who serve and have served the country.
This post offers events for the local community at its hall and a schedule of events can be viewed on the website. Annual Christmas and Easter parties are the two big events of the year. Baseball games and horseshoe playing are regular summer activities this post offers. Fish fry dinners are held from 5pm to 9pm on Fridays for the months of September to May.
The hall features a full bar and can fit 300 guests for events. Rental of the hall is offered for weddings, showers, graduations, brunches, meetings, parties, anniversaries and other private events.
