"Our Path is to Deeply Plant the Roots of Wisdom"

While open to all faith backgrounds, our Zen Buddhist influenced day camp seeks to create an environment where peaceful, interdependent and joyful activities abound. Peace play, crafts, gardening, scavenger hunts and child friendly meditation. These are some of the many fun activities planned for this year. The camp is held on the beautiful grounds of the DeKoven Center, located on the shores of Lake Michigan. 

The camp will be held on the following days and times.

• Thursday, August 9th, 11am-4pm
• Friday, August 10th, 11am -4pm
• Saturday, August 11th, 10am-6pm

Recommended ages for the camp are potty trained to 10.  Parents are welcome to participate at any time. Download the: 2012 Camp Bodhi Root Registration Form

Registration fee is $50 for one camper, and $30 per additional child from the same family (we leave the definition of family up to you!)  Lunch and snacks will be provided on all three days, and a cook out/ potluck will be held on the last day of camp.  Parents and siblings are welcome to attend the cook out - we simply ask that you bring a dish to pass.
