Calling All Crafters: Come Blog on Patch

Patch is seeking crafters to write about their handiwork. Whether it's sewing, knitting, quilting or jewelry making, we want to give your voice a home.

Do you sew, knit or bead? Do your friends and family clamor for your handmade gifts? Are you an expert at your craft, or picking something up for the first time?

Write about your crafty adventures on Patch, and see what happens next. Wondering what you could write about? Here are a few suggestions:

  • Keep a journal of projects and progress (even if you put it down for a while, you'll have the details saved!)
  • Post pictures of your work, and show off your accomplishments
  • Give love to your favorite designers and fellow crafters by writing about the designers and other crafters you admire.
  • Review materials, supplies, pattern books and magazines.
  • A Patch blog will also let you share your expertise, learn from other local crafters and connect with other makers of handmade goods

As a Patch blogger you will reach thousands of daily Patch users and get access to our sophisticated platform to share information, opinions and link to other sources. You will gain a following among readers as an expert, and can use your Patch blog to promote an existing blog or drive traffic to your Twitter feed or Facebook page.
