“I call us together for a time of prayer in support for our fellow brothers and sisters, especially those Sikh families who have lost loved ones,” said Rev. Paul Armstrong, pastor of Oak Creek Community United Methodist Church. “We pray for the police officer and his family who first engaged the shooter and was wounded in so doing. Let us pray against the increasing violence seen in our communities. Let us pray and act for peace.”

Oak Creek Community United Methodist Church is a Christian fellowship whose mission is to: worship God, love and serve all people, grow in faith, and invite others to become disciples of Jesus Christ. See www.occumc.org for more information about the church.
