Grab and Go Kids' Planner: The Circus is Coming to Town

• TRIPOLI SHRINE CIRCUS
Where/When: U.S. Cellular Arena/Wednesday, 7 p.m.; Thursday, 7 p.m.; Friday, 10:30 a.m. and 7:30 p.m.; Saturday, 10:30 a.m., 3 p.m. and 7:30 p.m.; Sunday, 10:30 a.m. and 3 p.m.
Why Go: You'll have a chance to meet the performers, step into the circus rings, ride an elephant or pony, have your face painted or your picture taken with a giant snake.
Pricing: Tickets start at $12.

Where/When: Oak Creek High School/Thursday through Saturday, 7 p.m.
Why Go: Fun play and a good chance to support the arts at OCHS. from earlier in the week.
Pricing: $7 for adults, $6 for students and seniors.

• WOODY AND THE GANG AT THE IMAX
Where/When: Humphrey IMAX Dome Theater/Friday, 5:30 p.m.; Saturday, 4:30 p.m. and 6:45 p.m.; Sunday, 4:30 p.m.
Why Go: This is your last chance to see Toy Story 3 on the impressive IMAX screen. The viewing was just extended through this weekend, so round up the kids and take them to see some of the most impressive toys around.
Pricing: $9 adults; $7 children

• STORYBOOK TALES: ONCE UPON A TRAIN
Where/When: Mitchell Park Conservatory (The Domes)/ongoing exhibit through April 3.
Why Go: See Thomas the Train and other G-scale trains as they weave their way through scenes of your favorite tales such as Rapunzel, Jack and the Beanstalk, Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs and more. In addition, from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Friday and Saturday, there will be a collectible all-scale train exhibit. Also, the weather stinks outside, but it's great in The Domes.
Pricing: $6.50 for adults 18 and older, $5 for children ages 6-17, free for children under 6.

DISCOVERY HIKE: WINTER ANIMAL TRACKING
Where/When: Milwaukee Urban Ecology Center/Saturday, 10:30 a.m. to noon
Why Go: Fun winter event for kids age 4 and up to look for signs of animals that are active in the colder months. Afterwards, sip on hot cocoa and enjoy a story time.
