Local BloodCenter in Running for Visit from Packers' Kuhn

Anyone who attempts to donate before Jan. 13 at the winning donor center will be invited to the postseason party with fullback John Kuhn.

As the BloodCenter of Wisconsin recognizes January as National Blood Donor Month β€” honoring the generosity of donors who take time out of their schedules to give the gift of life β€” a local donation center is in the running to land a visit from Green Bay Packers fullback John Kuhn.

The BloodCenter's Run Your Route has been extended to Jan. 13. The challenge has area donor centers competing for a postseason party with Kuhn.

With a little more than a week left in the competition, the Greenfield center, 7210 W. Edgerton Ave., is currently third of 11 donor centers, behind Racine's and Manitowoc's donor centers, which are tied for first.
