Marriage Proposal at Oak Creek 4th of July Parade
One happy couple got engaged near the end of the parade route.
For one happy couple, Thursday's Fourth of July parade in Oak Creek will be one they will never forget.
Chris Egger used the occasion to propose to his girlfriend, Ashley Spitza, near the end of the parade route at the American Legion.
Egger got in touch with Mayor Steve Scaffidi beforehand and used the car he was riding in to post a "will you marry me sign" as they drove by the couple.
(Spitza's answer, by the way, was yes.)
