Mayor's Fitness Challenge Returns for 2nd Year

After 900 pounds were dropped in the initiative's debut, the second fitness challenge will kick off Sept. 7.

The Mayor's Fitness Challenge is back for another run after almost 900 pounds were dropped in the initiative's debut last winter.

Registration is now open for the four-month challenge, which begins with a kick-off event Sept. 7 at Wheaton Franciscan Hospital.

Organizers are planning free fitness and wellness events as part of the initiative, which is open to both Oak Creek residents and non-residents.
