Oak Creek Library Offers New Programming For Young Adults

The library is launching monthly programs aimed at teens as well as a Teen Advisory Board.

The is starting up monthly programs aimed at teens as well as a new Teen Advisory Board.Β 

The monthly programs will feature crafts, workshops, games and events. The first one, "Rock Ur Locker," will feature unique crafts that can be used to decorate school lockers. It will be held from 6 to 8 p.m. Sept. 13.

Registration is required and limited to teens between 13 and 18 years old. For more information on the programs or to register, call (414) 764-4400 or visit the library's website.

The Teen Advisory Board, meanwhile, will be a monthly club that helps plan future programming and gives participants a chance to meet other teens in the community.

The first meeting will be held from 6 to 7 p.m. Sept. 20. The group is open to all area teens age 13-18. No registration is required.
