World War II veterans and living-history groups were spotlighted at the annual festival held on the historical society grounds.

The Oak Creek Historical Society highlighted visits with World War II veterans and living-history groups Sunday at its Fall Festival, held on the historical society grounds at 15th and Forest Hill avenues.

The theme for this year's festival, held for the 14th time, was "American Memories of World War II." Living-history groups from Army, Navy and Marine Corps units each displayed dozens of artifacts.

The festival also featured antique tractors, a working blacksmith, a weaver, spinner and more. A continuous slideshow of Oak Creek history ran in the Miller Farm Shed.
