Water Tower Gets Fresh Look

Crews are finishing up a repainting of the water tower at 27th and Sycamore.

The Oak Creek Water and Sewer Utility is finishing up a paint job on the water tower at 27th Street and Sycamore Avenue.

The tower was last painted in 2004. It was in need of repainting because the top coat of paint had started to separate from the primer coat underneath, Utility Engineer Ron Pritzlaff said.

Crews on Thursday were adding the city's name—matching up with the new branding unveiled last spring.
