Here’s a fun way to get your child ready for the first day of school: Neighborhood Night at the Betty Brinn Museum.
At Neighborhood Night, the Back to School Resource Fair begins at 5pm. It's a good idea to arrive early; that way you can receives free school supplies while they last. (This giveaway is for families in need with elementary school aged children.)
Then stay for Art Central, a special experience for children ages 3 and older. Museum educators work alongside local artists to help kids create their own, unique piece of visual art they can take home. Kids will also contribute to a group collaboration to be displayed in the Museum.
